Collecting your Race Bibs and Pre-Paid T-Shirts
Pre-paid race bibs and t-shirts can be collected from the Registration Area (please refer to the village site map for location details) between 7am and 8.30am on the day of the event. Please ensure you provide a hard copy (print out) of your registration receipt along with ID (preferably a drivers licence) to the registration desk for verification purposes. For those participants who registered manually, please provide valid id.
N.B. Participants who do not bring their receipts/ID with them will not be able to receive their race bibs or pre-paid t-shirts and will not be permitted to participate in the event.

- 9.00am – 7km Mens, Womens & Juniors
- 9.15am – 7km Walkers & Dogs
- 9.30am – 2km Primary School Challenge
On the day Purchases (Registrations and T-Shirts)
Additional Registrations can also be purchased from the registration area between 7am and 8.45am on the day of the event (please refer to the village site map for location details). Additional t-shirts can be purchased on the day of the event from the event information tent in the event village. NOTE: Whilst we accept registrations on the day, The Brook Run cannot guarantee you will receive a bib due to the limited number of timing chips and official timing equipment available. We highly recommend pre-registering to avoid disappointment.
Please note also that CASH ONLY payments can be accepted on the day of the event. There will not be any EFTPOSfacilities available within the event village or registration area. The closest ATMs are located in Stafford City Shopping Centre on Stafford Road.
Refunds & Registration Transfers
Strictly no refunds will be made to any competitor, regardless of the situation. Competitors may transfer their entry to another participant should they choose to do so. Please email us at email@example.com with your registration details and the name, DOB, gender and contact details of the person/s you wish to transfer your registration to. Transfers will not be permitted after Friday 11th July, 2014.

QFS 2km Age Categories
The QFS 2km Primary School Challenge requires the participant to be at or within their age bracket as at 27th July 2014, e.g for the under 12′s, you will need to be 12 years of age or under to qualify for this category. Event organisers reserve the right to request proof of birth (passport or birth certificate) on the day of the event if deemed necessary.
Four Legged Friends
We welcome our competitors who are running with their dogs to start at 9.15am along with the other dogs and walkers. Please ensure you listen to all announcements prior to the beginning of your event to ensure you are at the designated area for you and your dog.
Competitors with Prams/Strollers
We also welcome those in prams, strollers and other baby-transporters but strongly recommend that you begin your event at the rear of the walking group. Please ensure you listen to all announcements prior to the beginning of your event to ensure you are at the designated area for you and child/ren. Please feel free to ask one of our friendly event volunteers for help should you need it!
Do you charge for children under 5?
Children under 5 years old do not need to be registered and can join in the run free of charge, however in doing so will not be recognised as formal participants of the event.
Can our children bring their bikes or scooters on the course?
For the safety of the children and that of the event participants we highly recommend that no bikes or scooters be allowed onto the course at any time.
Can I accompany my child on the 2km Primary School Challenge?
We are very happy for parents and/or guardians to accompany their children on the 2km Primary School Challenge. You must register at the same time as the 2km participant to be eligible for this category.
Event Cancellation Information
The Stafford City Brook Run will take place rain or shine, so please dress appropriately. The event will only be cancelled due to extreme weather conditions or a natural disaster. In such instances notification will be posted on www.brookrun.com.au, Facebook, Twitter (@thebrookrun) and broadcast on local radio stations (details released closer to date).
There are a variety of transportation options to and from the event site. Use of public transport is encouraged. Parking will also be available on site, along with a participant drop off zone, see map. Further information will be updated on this website in the coming weeks – stay tuned!
Store Your Belongings in Our Baggage Check Area
Participants are welcome to store their belongings in our baggage check area (refer to village site map on our website for details). Participants will be issued with a registration ticket which corresponds with the number of their race bib. This ticket must be presented in order for belongings to be collected. Plastic bags will be provided.
Food & Beverages
Drink stations will be located along the route and at the finish line. Drinks from these stations are available free of charge to registered participants only.
There will also be a limited selection of food and beverages available for purchase within the event village.
Balerang St Residents
The Brook Run course will be utilising Balerang St for short periods during 9.00am – 10.15am. Whilst we will not be closing this road, there will be no participant parking allowed in Balerang St for the duration of the event. There will however be traffic control to ensure local traffic is allowed at any given time.
